CLONE ECU: Simply order and wait to receive your new ECU.
ECU REMOVAL:
- Locate battery (upper left of engine bay) and disconnect ground cable via quick release latch.
- Locate ECU (against rear firewall against trunk compartment) and remove ECU harness (push button and pull up swing arms while simultaneously pulling out side locking mechanism)
- Remove the four (4) 10mm bolts securing ECU.
ECU INSTALLATION:
- Install ECU by re-inserting four (4) 10mm bolts.
- Install ECU harness by carefully seating clips, pushing in and down with swing arm, and then locking the slide.
- Connect battery ground.
- After reconnecting the ground cable, place the key in the ignition switch and turn the key WITHOUT starting the vehicle. Wait 10-15 seconds, then turn the key off and remove. Repeat a total of 3 times. This will allow the throttle-body to recalibrate. Not doing this procedure correctly will result in a check engine light and rough running on initial startup.
