Upgrading to polyurethane suspension bushings is one of the most cost effective upgrades you can make to your GTV6 or Milano. The stock rubber bushings wear out quickly, especially with spirited driving. Polyurethane bushings don't wear out and they more accurately control suspension movement and location, resulting in improved performance. Polyurethane bushings upgrades are the best place to start with suspension modifications. Your car will not be able to fully exploit other changes like stiff torsion bars or performance shocks with old worn out bushings!
The bushings in the Watts linkage are critical, especially if you are running serious tires. If the Watts linkage bushings are worn, the De Dion tube will shift during hard cornering and will sometimes cause large tires to rub on the inside quarter panels. The original type of bushings work well but wear out fast. I strongly suggest you replace the original bushings with quality polyurethane bushings.

The sleeve for this bushing has been supplied to the OE factory dimensions, however, the center pin on your De Dion tube may be worn. If this is the case, the new sleeve could be too loose and some repair work will be required to reinstate the correct tolerance between the bushing sleeve and the De Dion tube pin.
