The GTV6 was arguably the hottest and best sport coupe of the early 80's. It features a 2.5 liter V6, four wheel disc brakes, inboard at the rear, and a rear mounted transaxle to give near perfect weight distribution. It has a great racing history, having won just about every championship it was eligible for.

Usually cars with a great racing history and low production numbers become quite valuable. Somehow though it seems these cars have been largely forgotten and thus are quite inexpensive. If you want a fun collectible car this just might be not only the best buy out there, but also the best car!
